  • Description: Join Alison Myers (Research Analyst, Sauder School of Business) and Jeremy Buhler (Assessment Librarian, UBC Library) for the first of two workshops on using Tableau to explore and visualize your data. This hands-on session will introduce the Tableau interface and basic visualization features while exploring crime data from the City of Vancouver. No previous experience with Tableau is required. Participants must bring their own laptops with Tableau Desktop (free for students) or Tableau Public (free for everyone) pre-installed. See also the second workshop in this series, on October 24.
