  • Description: Research shows that graduate students benefit from regular participation in a Writing Community. Attending a Writing Community helps graduate students establish an individual, regular writing practice in a supportive environment, while increasing productivity, building networks, and reducing isolation.

Join fellow graduate students writing their theses, dissertations, and research articles for 2 hours of uninterrupted writing time. Graduate students from the Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication facilitate the weekly writing sessions.

    Location:
The Thursday Writing Community meets at the Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication (CWSC), located in the South pavilion, level 3, of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
