  • Description: Research shows that graduate students benefit from regular participation in a Writing Community. Weekly attendance at a Writing Community helps graduate students establish an individual, regular writing practice in a supportive environment, while increasing productivity, building networks, and reducing isolation.

Join fellow graduate students writing their theses, dissertations, and research articles for 2 hours of dedicated writing time during the summer semester (May 14 – August 27). A graduate student from the Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication facilitates the weekly writing community.

Writing Community Facilitator: Eury Colin Chang is a Vancouver-born artist/scholar and PhD Candidate in the Department of Theatre and Film.
